The Maronite Cause Books

The Maronite Cause is a two-volume work about history, state failure, and endurance under pressure.

Volume I builds the evidentiary foundation through a study of historical, political, and strategic realities needed to understand why the old assumptions about the Lebanese Republic no longer hold.

Volume II continues with mapping today’s existential threats, extracting lessons from small nations, and presenting a lawful roadmap to achieve self-determination for Christians of Lebanon.

Volume I: History, Collapse, and the Case for Survival

Volume I traces the political and historical record of the Maronites from early origins, through the Ottoman era, to the birth of modern Lebanon, civil war, and the long postwar decline.

We explain a central conclusion: the Lebanese state, as it currently operates, no longer guarantees the survival or the future of Christians as a community.

Volume II: Self-determination and the Path to a Mountain State

Volume II of The Maronite Cause turns the historical diagnosis into a program to reclaim self-determination.

Beginning with the present threat environment, it maps the pressures facing Maronites and Christians in Lebanon: political marginalization, institutional capture, demographic erosion, economic fragility, and security vulnerability.

It then asks a practical question: what must be built, lawfully and strategically, to ensure the rights, dignity, freedom, and future of Christians in this region?
